The Golden Hour Retreat

This primary suite remodel was a complete transformation, designed to elevate both the function and feel of everyday living. The original layout felt dated and disconnected, with a bulky jacuzzi tub, a cramped shower, and inefficient closet space. Our goal was to rework the footprint to create a serene, highly functional retreat that feels timeless yet tailored.

We expanded the shower into the former closet footprint, creating a more spacious and luxurious experience with upgraded finishes and clean, modern lines. Both his and her closets were completely reimagined with custom built-ins that were truly game-changing—adding smart storage solutions including a mirror and dedicated jewelry storage in her closet, and maximizing usable space throughout.

A powered vanity drawer provides a sleek home for hair styling tools, while the built-in tower between the double vanities stores electric toothbrushes and razors, keeping countertops clear and routines effortless. To solve the lack of linen and towel storage, we relocated the original single vanity and designed a new double vanity layout, repurposing that space for a custom linen cabinet.

The vanities feature creamy quartz countertops, warm brass fixtures, and custom fluting details that bring texture and sophistication. Over the new freestanding tub, a beautifully tailored custom window treatment—designed in collaboration with One Stop Decorating—adds softness and privacy while anchoring the bath area with elegance.

In the bedroom, contrast trim in a soft, airy tone pairs with updated lighting and a statement four-poster bed to give the suite a timeless, classic feel with a sophisticated edge. Every element, from the LVP flooring to the comfort-height toilet, was chosen to support both beauty and ease of living.

The result is a light-filled retreat that blends intentional design, modern comfort, and everyday luxury—perfectly curated for rest, function, and a touch of indulgence.
